Reason 2:

Another consequence of air pollution will be health issues for humans. Poor air quality will affect respiratory systems; the most common diseases occurring due to this will be asthma and more infections like influenza or pneumonia, and many other breathing problems (Source).

Reason 1:

People are destroying the natural ecosystems by polluting toxic chemicals from different facilities such as cars, trucks and factories. This releases greenhouse gases which will get absorbed into the air. This traps more radiation from the sun which will heat up the environment. Fossil fuels are used for cars, airplane and other transportation. If temperatures rise, a lot of natural plants will be damaged. Furthermore, climate change or global warming will cause sea levels to rise increasing the chances of flooding (Source).

Two mature trees can supply enough oxygen annually to support a family. Greenpeace is helping nature, not only the green environment but any living things that are still alive in this planet. The campaign is telling people to cooperate to make our future “brilliant” and let people realize that plants and trees will absorb carbon dioxide and give off oxygen (Source).

There are many non-governmental organizations and one of the main global issues is air pollution. People in this generation are concerned about their health. A few months ago, Greenpeace noticed something called e-waste and that if people are breathing contaminated air, it will affect their bodies. In recent years, new technologies and devices have been invented containing strong toxic chemicals which can affect our physical function and organs (Source). Some people are not recycling these devices at the end of their use and they end up in landfill, and other wastes are not able to be recycled. This can affect the water environment by releasing toxic chemical pollution. As water evaporates the toxic pollution, such as PVC, mercury and solvents are released into the atmosphere. Companies want to make more money, so they design electronic devices that can only be used for a certain time. This, further increases the amount of e-waste produced (Source).

Food companies have slowed their usage of natural resources from the forest, such as maple syrup and palm oil. Greenpeace is working towards a plan of banning the dumping of waste into the sea. People have been ignoring nature. From these measures, Greenpeace is helping the government set priorities (Source).

Humans are destroying nature, creating more technologies that affect the atmosphere in the nature environment. Will animals or living things be able to live in this environment? This will be the major problem facing the planet from now on (Source).

Protecting living things is important because people are neglecting nature and destroying the environment.

Here's a little video about P&G, P&G is buying palm oil from companies that are destroying the forest home of natural plants and animals.
